Donating pet food to struggling families

Most people are aware of how poverty and structural inequality create challenges and barriers to accessing everyday needs and how inflation is only making the crisis worse. Pet resources are no different. Many families struggle to afford or have access to veterinary care, food and supplies for their beloved pets.

More than 20 million pets live in poverty - three times as many pets live in poverty as enter shelters every year. This is a long overlooked national crisis exacerbated by inflation and the economy.

Some of the families we will help are single parents, veterans, seniors, disabled, homeless, and families who have fallen on hard times. Our outreach program will  deliver pet food to areas of Columbus, Ohio & homeless camps to ensure the pet food and supplies gets to  where they are most needed. Our assistance can mean the difference for a pet living with their family and keeping them out of  a shelter.

We are an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving Columbus, Ohio. We are volunteer operated and donation based. From the very beginning our founders had a clear vision and strong commitment to provide much-needed assistance to those facing financial hardship with their pets. We all have been in the Rescue community for many years and are versed with care animals deserve and need. All of our pets are rescues and our passion for helping animals is what brought us together to form this organization.

Education and Resources

We will offer education on the importance of spaying and neutering your animals, TNR, proper nutrition, vaccinating and proper vet care. Resource information will be available on how to obtain help with these matters.
